It is a great investement. But make sure it does all types of batteries not just like AA and AAA. It needs to more like C's and D's and 9 volt. A little more expensive but will save you money over the years. Cause we all use remotes and flash lites. Worth the money.

If you have kids and all their new toys.... It is mandatory to have a charger... Otherwise you will be going out to the stores a lot to buy new batteries....

Please note that rechargeable batteries also die over time and need to be replaced....

Yes. I have several remotes, and other battery charged devices and still have some of the same rechargeable batteries from 6-7 yrs ago.

I think so....look at the price of batteries.
Why not just recharge them!

And when you purchase one....check out your local discount chains ie. Walmart, Kmart.

yes ( it will pay for itself - how many times you charge will be the factor in how much it saves) ----------do not store depleted batteries charge and then store them
