Keep in mind: This all depends on your labido, mood etc
The only thing I would call into question here is Sensory Adaptation.
Picture yourself in a dark room, over time the room seems less and less dark and you can slowly make out objects.
Now Picture yourself walking out into a hot day on the beach, over time it doesn't seem so hot.
Our brain is geared towards paying less and less attention to sensory stimulus we are repeatedly or consistently exposed to.
I would imagine that this would also apply to masturbation. The sensory stimulus of masturbation is similar to that of sexual intercourse, and its likely that if you masturbate a lot - the sex wont be as good !
In other words, yes.

No. There's a lot of false information on the internet about the matter, but unless you're doing yourself physical harm, no. On the other hand, it can cause physical deformity from stretching/wearing on the skin. Put simply though, keep it to once or twice a day and you should be fine.
edit: I notice that many people have posted that it can lead to desensitivity. This is only true if you're doing it excessively. Go four or five times a day, every day, and maybe it can. But, I tend to think you would hurt yourself before it ever got to that. Nature designed men to be most active sexually early in their lives, which is where the idea of sexual peak and decline came from. You are made to have frequent orgasms, so don't worry about it. I think that the issue with desensitivity would come more from the use of aids such as pornography, which could lead to addiction quite easily. Masturbation could as well, but, it's not the same as intercourse. For males, sex is more visual than anything, so, like any addiction, when it escalates to the point where you need more and more to get the same high, normal intercourse may not seem as exciting. Hope this takes a load off your mind.

MASTURBATION MYTHS:
from http://www.jackinworld.com/library/myths.html
Chances are, of all the things you've heard about masturbation, most of them were absolutely false. For some reason, misinformation surrounds masturbation like virtually no other topic. How do you spot a masturbation myth? One simple method is to ask yourself if the statement is also true of sexual intercourse. When you're masturbating, your body only knows it's getting sexually stimulated; it doesn't know by what means. So, for instance, if the question is whether or not masturbation causes acne, think of it this way: If it did, intercourse would also cause acne. In fact, neither masturbation nor intercourse cause acne.
MYTH:
Masturbation causes hair to grow on your palms.
FACT:
How many people with hair on their palms have you seen?
MYTH:
Masturbation causes hair loss, chronic fatigue, and other problems.
FACT:
Internet scam artists have tried to invent a concept called "overmasturbation," insisting that you have to buy their expensive herbal pills in order to counteract the effect of masturbating more than a couple of times per week. But the pills have absolutely no effect — and masturbating once or twice a day will not make your hair fall out, or cause anything else they claim.
MYTH:
Masturbation is bad for your eyesight.
FACT:
Masturbation does not affect eyesight. This myth probably originated because boys often start having to wear glasses at about the same age they start masturbating.
MYTH:
Masturbation causes your penis to stop growing (or) to get bigger.
FACT:
Masturbation has no effect on penis size whatsoever.
MYTH:
Masturbation causes your testicles to shrink.
FACT:
Absolutely false! It is true that if you're highly aroused, your testicles become engorged with blood and may appear slightly larger and heavier, and that masturbating will make them revert to normal. But they will absolutely not be any smaller than after the last time you masturbated.
MYTH:
Masturbation causes acne.
FACT:
It doesn't cause acne. Like the eyesight myth, this is a case of two things that happen at the same time, even though one doesn't cause the other.
MYTH:
Masturbation causes sexually transmitted diseases.
FACT:
Hello? "Sexually transmitted" means from one person to another. You can't give yourself a sexually transmitted disease!
MYTH:
If you masturbate too much, you'll run out of semen and become sterile.
FACT:
Semen is a fully renewable resource. When you ejaculate semen, your body simply makes more — the same way your body makes more saliva after you spit.
MYTH:
People can tell whether you masturbate by how your penis looks.
FACT:
Masturbation does not change the appearance of your penis. (It does tend to cause an erection, but that usually goes away when you're finished.)

Despite what you have read on here, yes it is possible. there is something actually called Traumatic Masturbatory Syndrome which is the result of people having aggressivley masturbated their whole lives and as a result are unable to reach orgasm during regular intercourse. 99% of these cases are caused by individuals who masturbate by rubbing their penis into their matress as opposed to usin gtheir hand. But even excessive stimulation with the hand can lead to some reduction in sensitivty during intercourse. As with everything you should masturbate in moderation.
Doing it five times a day every day is probably going ot result in TMS but thankfully very few people go to this extreme. Averaging one a day is no problem at all.

NO, frequent masturbation only causes happiness and sexual gratification. It will make you less "urgent" to ejaculate however, so that is beneficial most of the time. What is even better at delaying ejaculation is to continue to leave your penis inside and keep at it continuously until you have a second orgasm. That's my personal favorite way to spend an hour or so. So few guys bother to "stay put" and enjoy the second time around. It's very moist, slick, and unbelievably enjoyable because you can really take your time working out the second round of semen.

Possible. Plus your palms start to grow hair. In an AMA journal it was noted people went through disposable razors at twice the normal rate. Some even more. The final figures haven't been esablished as yet. Too, an incidence of progressive blindness calling for ever increasing thicknesses of glasses. Particularly among government employees and operatives, particularly. Department heads also having to contend with employees showing up to work wearing only one glove and that, often in their pocket. The final stage, though not widely corroborated has been observed as increasing mental instability. Padded rooms in facilities treating such cases are now at a crisis stage with an inability to cope with the influx as well as noticing the fact it does not curb this activity unless videotape reruns of ' Days Of Our Lives ' were locked in with the patients but this, sadly, helped but marginally. Overall marital infidelity of a type has surfaced with the affected partner citing ' The Hand ' as the culprit. Suggestions of supplanting this with tweezers have borne no results and perceived as a malicious ' dig '. Hope this helps.

It depends. If you are a woman and are using a vibrator frequently (several times a day), then you can decrease sensitivity when doing it with a partner.

In a sense, yes. It's not so much that your sensitivity has decreased, but rather that you have so gotten used to the feeling that you're mentally desensitized to it. The solution is simple, don't masturbate excessively.

Yes. In fact there are people who are so addicted to masturbating that they can not even get it excited during sex anymore. The only way is masturbation.

Nature intended man to ejaculate quickly and leave the scene when we were all living in the jungles, so we may have less of a chance of being eaten by the lions and tigers and other dangerous animals. If you feel that you should last long, reduce pumping piston action and go slow. Wear a thick condom. Use desensitizing jelly - but it carries its own risks. But why delay your own orgasm? To make the woman happy? Use your fingers, lips and tongue to make her reach her orgasm before you ejaculate.
