If I use it will it ruin my cluth? I dont know how to clean and it also has a gold chain strap, how do I clean that too? Thanks .

Leather + Leather Cleaner= Cleaner Leather.

If it's not suede you can also use shoe polish on it. This will help protect it, although purses don't need much protection since they're not a weathered item, but it does make the leather nice and shiny looking, not as shiny as patent though. If you do you polish, use very little since it tends to leave a residue if too much is applied.

As for the chain...if it's real metal and not plastic with gold foil on it you can use some rubbing alcohol to clean it. This won't ruin the gold. Put it on a tissue, one that won't fall apart, or paper towel, and rub it gently. Use a q-tip to get in between the links.
