Yes. I read about it.
It seems, the reason for picking new ones is, a lot of them fell apart. They are no longer standing due to deterioration.

Since people travel more, we have found structures that are actually more deserving. More awesome, if you will.

However, SOME that they have chosen, I don't agree with.
I think they have made a much bigger deal out of some of them than they're worth.

Some of their choices, I don.t get. I'm with you on that one.

Another thing. Why the number 7? Couldn't it just as easily be 4 or 10? The fact that they hold steadfast on the amount being 7, leads very little creedance to their "WONDER" status.

I'm wondering myself, who decided that the earth always has 7 all the time.

there are the 7 wonders of the ancient world and now I guess there are seven wonders of the modern world. The internet is extraordinary....the whole world linked within seconds...it's amazing. Just because you are so used to it maybe you don't see the value. Imagien an ancient egyptian looking at it..they would probably think it was way more amazing than the pyramids

They must be fans of Ted Turner (he's the one who started the whole colourization of old black & white films).

Besides, the original seven are supposed to be called "The Seven Natural Wonders of The World". So they shouldn't be replaced. The new seven should be placed in a different catagory.

Since there is only like 2 wonders that are still even remotely around.....It only makes sense to find new ones. I don't know the new ones, but if its trains and internet....that really sucks

I totally agree! I think the original 7 were pretty wonderous and they are still wonders. People are just never happy they have to change everything wether its for the good or not.
