NO DOUBT! he set the record with TD returns and Kick returns in his rookie year!

Even though he is not on offense technically, he is an offensive tool that creates points for the Bears, and most of the TDs have come at critical times, such as the first Monday night game against Arizona, his return late in the 4th gave them the winning points. that can pump a team up, too, and give them a lot of momentum.

Bottom line is that no other rookie single handedly impacts their team as much as devin hester.

Yes but No, Vince Young has beat the Colts, & Maurice Jones-Drew has had a magnificent year for a rookie running back. All Hester did was return a missed field goal.

I'd say yes, he can turn a game around in a heart beat. The bigger question is why isn't this guy in the offensive lineup? With that kind of speed he needs to touch the ball 25-30 a game, not just 4 or 5.

He definitely should be considered. His returns have won games for this team and he has been an important part of the Bears team. However, I think it will probably go to either Marques Coulston of the Saints or Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jaguars. Both of these other players have been great this year too.

yes ... 6 tds is pretty good for a rookie who doesn't even play offense. he's a gamebreaker for sure. he's really carried the bears through some tough stretches. he's the only guy on offense, defense, or special teams besides urlacher (who's lost a step) that you HAVE to know where he is every play, and even then you can't always stop him

yeah, because he's in the hall of fame twice already. one for the 108 missed field goal return that tied another Bear's player from last year for the record. also, he has the most returns in a season. I think he should not only be considered, but win it. He has earned it.
