The next time you park your car, remove the negative (ground) cable. If the car battery is dead in two days, you need a battery. If it is not, you have a short circuit or some thing that is drawing down the battery. This should be diagnosed by a mechanic.

Is there a question here? You obviously have an electrical problem that needs to be diagnosed by an auto technician.
Could be bad battery, draw on the system or charging problem. A perfect example of someone that you don't want touching your vehicle would be someone like the person that suggests you take your vehicle to a "Parts Store" like auto zone for diagnosis. This is a parts store not an auto repair shop. The people that work there are parts sales people not trained technicians.

Assuming your alternator is charging correctly and there are no warning lights showing inside your car when driving, you have sick battery syndrome, which means you need to replace the battery. Contrary to popular belief they do not last for ever. In the past, when living in a cold climate, I have had to buy a new battery after 3 years.

this is called parasitic amp draw, generaly most vehicles draw around ---> point one five amps when vehicle off and no accessories running.

to check parasitic amp draw, simply disconnect your negative cable from the battery. youve got a couple options on this step.
1 you may use a multimeter to measure the exact amp draw
2 you can use a test light to show you
hook either the testlight or multimeter between the negative cable and the battery.
when using a multimeter, if you get a reading over 0.25 you've got enough draw to deplete a battery rather quickly

when using a test light, it should not light or would be VERY dim. however if you've got plenty of light coming from it you may want to check for things on or shorting out.

Hope this helps

BTW i was a trained Automotive Technition working at a parts store once lmao!

maybe it's as simple as a junk battery -- although it gets a jump and runs...it won't start again on its own.

once when my battery wouldn't start (and it was BRAND NEW) after the car sat for 4 days without being used, we discovered that the cell phone car charger was plugged in, and it was drawing juice and draining the brand new battery -- so check for things like that .

How old is your battery? Are the posts clean on the battery?
It could have a low cell. You may need to replace it.
