Oh yea! And I wait, patiently, until they forget and then out of nowhere comes the hammer. It is my pride and joy. I have things sitting on the burner now a good decade. In fact, there is a little something I need to take care of before this New Year's. Thanks for reminding me.

Holding onto grudges, holds you back in life so ultimately not only did that person hurt you, but they would be holding you back for however long it took you to forgive them! So in the end you're only hurting yourself.
Find a way to get rid of the baggage. Keep the lesson forgive the transgression.

Oh my. Why would you want to invest the time and energy to do that. In the long run, it just sets you up to become a bitter, resentful person that others don't care to be around.
Hey, those who hurt you have already done so. Why keep allowing them to hurt you by holding onto the hurt?
Forgiveness is not so much about helping the other person, as it is about helping yourself. Trust me, you will be much happier if you just let it go and move on.

Absolutely....it helps me to remember who are my friends and who aren't....and most of the time you really have less "true" friends than you think. It also helps me to remember that I am a good person, and others who would screw me over, just aren't worthy of my time or effort. I forgive, as it isnt' worth the energy, but I do NOT forget...as by doing so I would be lacking wisdom.

No,
but I do tell people that would deserve it, that I do, and I also tell them that if I ever get a deadly disease and only have a few days or weeks to live; I'm going to hunt them all down and kill them first!.
Boy does that keep people in line.
It helps to be Atheist too, that way they can't say I'm going to get punished for it.
I believe this the the heart and soul of religion, it keeps bad people from getting their just desserts in reality.

Yes.
And it's that list that motivates me on a daily basis. To work harder and attempt to prove that person wrong. At the same time, there's no better daydream that thinking about knocking each one of them off that list--Hollywood action movie style!

No because it's usually not worth it. Most of the people who have screwed me over are either careless or small-minded, and neither is worth wasting my time holding a grudge over. I try to be bigger than that.

I know this is terrible of me, but yes I do.
I have been hurt so many times, and trusted so many people, and with each time I get hurt, all I can think about is revenge.
it doesn't mean that I actually do anything, but I sure do  about it!

Forgive those who have sinned against you. Not just seven times, but seven times seventy. A grudge is a very heavy piece of sh!t to lug around.
