I am 5 weeks pregnant and I am crampy. There is no pain what so ever and no bleeding. Just feels full in my lower abdomin like something like a balloom is blowing up in there. I am only 5 weeks I know the embryo is not big enough to make that sensation. Has anyone else experienced this?

i am experiencing the same things. i am 6 weeks along. so far what i can figure it is, is that it is gas. as much as i didnt want it to be that lol. i have major gas cramps and feel bloated. also i have read that your bowels could be moving in preperation for the space needed when your uterus begins to grow. i hope this helps.

I got real crampy in the beginning. It is very normal, but at the same time can freak you out!

cramping is very usual in the beginning as well as throughout the whole pregnancy, your body is adjusting and things are changing every single day (im 14 wks) and i got them more so in the first weeks..now i still get them and when i do i see my belly change.. so its normal..it might not be too normal if they persist contiuosly and worsen then you might want to see a doctor.

Cramps are very common in early pregnancy. Also common towards the end as well. I had a lot of cramps in the beginning of my first pregnancy not as much this time around.
Congratulations!

Mari

I got cramps too and spotting. You tend to feel full because of the extra blood flow down there.

Your uterus is stretching. You'll continue to feel that, especially if this is your first. It's normal. Good luck to you.
