100% true.

Very true. Is just the law of nature.

Case in point: I was dating a guy in college. He was so sweet, charming, nice, funny, and handsome- exactly what any girl would love to have. I dogged him....HARD. It became sport and I know...deep in the recesses of my mind that what I did to him would probably affect future relationships with other women.

Fast forward 8 years later, I matured. Fell in love with a guy that I was a total puppy for. And he played me, well.

So as the old addage says, "What goes around, comes around." I got what I deserved, paid dearly for it in humiliation dollars! I am still looking for him to apologize for the immature way I treated him.

I always struggle with answering this one. Part of me says yes - what goes around DOES come around ... karma does seem to have it's way sometimes. However, I've also seen times when it hasn't always come around in the past when it should have. So ... maybe it is just coincidence - who knows?

Like most quotes of this nature, they are usually more poetic than true. We would like to believe that if there are not direct consequences for those who engage in selfish behaviors, that these un-punished acts will accumulate to a point of critical karmic mass promoting an avalanche of bad luck on the heads of these schmucks. But alas, life is unfair.

Karma is what you do =)
But remember that when you are having 'bad luck' it is a result of past mis-deeds. If you can realize this and own the bad luck, you can sew the seeds for good karma. Don't let it get you down!

The saying reflects this idea, I think in a way

I like to believe it and try to behave accordingly. You wonder sometimes though when you see all the evil that goes on in the world and what people seem to get away with. I guess even if we don't see karma biting their behinds on this earth, I like to believe they will have to answer for their evil deeds in the spiritual realm.

Most people believe that it is true, thus Karma, the Golden Rule etc.. But a more important question may be this: are you willing to risk it?

It is perfect truth. Draw a simple circle and watch...what goes AROUND comes AROUND.

It is a very true statement.
Especially so in your dealings with people. The manner in which you treat them is exactly what you will get.
Sort of like you reap what you sow.

it's true, but we tend to not believe it because it doesn't come around fast enough.

I like this saying better. You reap what you sow. Basically all your actions have consequences. Some are good some are bad.
