Well, I have to agree with your ex, but I know a lot of people who really like the look. I think that is a trend that is sort of over now- in my part of the country, you don't see that too much anymore. Now a lot of people seem to be wearing black leggings under skirts, with knee-length boots on top of that. I guess it's about personal style, though. If you do wear your Uggs with a skirt, you won't look out of place or weird or anything. One tip I have which seems to make the whole look much cuter- try to find some of those opaque knit tights with cute patterns or stripes on them, like little kids wear, and wear those under your skirt and Uggs. It will give you more of a snow-bunny vibe.

I think it's way out of style. People had that look last winter and it still looked bad. Several guys I know have commented on the ugg boots saying how gross and sweaty the girls feet must be in there. I think you should wear more feminine/attractive shoes, or if you want boots, wear sleek leather ones without a clunky heel.

I agree with your ex. Not to mention...why don't you just run around in a swimsuit? Your legs will be cold with a skirt and your feet will get soaked if you wear Uggs...they're made of cloth. Cloth gets wet and the water seeps through the fibers no matter how much water proofing you do to them.
Uggs should be worn if your going to dress up as a bear.

Depends what type of skirts. Long skirts? NO. But you can choose a very casual sporty-looking Antropologie mini skirt to go with it. I don't think they are ugly, they are ugly on people who doesn't know how to match them. Also, not all styles of uggs are cute. The really fluffy ones are NO WAY!!

It depends, seeing as how Uggs cover the ankle and part of the calf, the skirt should be short and the thighs should be *killer*. By the way, it's a great look any time.

I think ugg boots are like soo out right now, and they definitely do not look cool with a skirt. depending opn where you live, wear flats or skimmers with your skirt, or long leather boots.

I really like long dresses. My bf desires the brief ones. So my wardrobe is loaded w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
