I have to third what ScottBull and Reverse Engineer have said.

I also stick with Nero 6.6.1.4 for all of my burning. First class.

You may be able to pick up an inexpensive copy online. My local PCWorld had a sale and I bought mine for under twenty pounds.

Reduced from about fifty pounds at that time.

have also seen it at thirty five quid.

If the Nero Version 6 is earlier than 6.6.1.4, you can download the updates from Nero.com

No, but if you could i wouldn't as the error checking is awful (you may not find out there's a problem til half way through a movie/CD), to second Scott Bull, nero 6.6.1.4 is the optimal DVD/CD burner out there.

It's possible to burn data onto a DVD, but not to burn DVD-DVD on it, without changing the configuration.

I stick with Nero 6.6.1.4 for all of my burning.
