I ASK THIS QUESTION BECAUSE I HAVE NOTICED THAT MOST PEOPLE WON'T GIVE UNLESS THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE GETTING SOMETHING IN RETURN . HOW DO YOU FEEL.

i don't like it when people thank me because it makes me feel strange (i can't spell ahck ward :'p) so most of the time i give to people in ways where they don't know who could have done it. like one year i knew that my english teacher really wanted her own stapler, i got one from the store along with staples and just put it on her desk when she wasn't looking.
anyway, the reason most people don't like to give with out receiving is because they don't get the feeling of joy like that of when they open presents. nowadays things have gotten so screwed up that people don't find joy by giving only recieving.

I have been ever changing in the past year on my views of true giving. Two weeks ago I gave a homeless man $5 when all he was expecting was some change. In return I got the most wonderful feeling inside. He said thank you and said he was going to get a meal at Burger King. I know I saved him from standing there for more hours and put him somewhere warm for awhile.
I've never felt so good in my life.
If you agree, be positive, share experiences and hopefully others will come to these conclusions on their own as well.

I give. I love to give. I love to see the joy in someones face when they get something they love. I don't ever expect something in return. I have learned over the years that most of the time people will let you down anyway, so never expect anything and you are ok.

So true! It takes a whole lot of humility, lack of selfishness, and the right motive. If you give only to get, then your motive isn't right. We all need to give and not expect anything back. That takes a LOT of work on the giver's part - attitude adjustment and love; the kind of love that risks getting hurt; the most rewarding kind of love.

LOVE. PURE LOVE! If I have something that some1 needs i give from the kindness of my heart. If i was looking for something back , that would be a loan. Most people have giving and loaning twisted.

give without knowing who the gift is going to.if it is truly from the heart,you don't need to see a reaction from the reciever.
