sounds serious.....To be honest you 'can't' find a persons name by their mobile number....I know this because i used to have some creep ringing my home and leaving abusive messages...I rang the phone company and (even though i (and they) had their number) they couldn't do anything about it. I'd just keep ringing that number, or better still get a male friend to ring it...tell them to pretend they just recieved a text from her phone (to confuse her) and you (your friend_ were just calling to see who it was from etc etc

Careful....this is exactly the same as what happened to me and my now ex boyfriend!
I got a text on 'our' mobile (he was using mine at work till his was fixed!) It was an innocent enough text but when i asked my ex who it was he maintained he had no idea! I rang the number cos as far as i was concerned 'we' hadnt a clue who they were or what they were on about! A girl answered which straight away pee'd me off then hung up quick. Every time i tried to call it again, an answer phone message about British Gas would come on! ***** had just diverted the calls to the local gas company! My ex stood by his story that he didnt know who it was or what the text was on about but deep down i knew he was giving me a load of bull as he was working nights at work as the usual man was off ill..and the txt refered to someone being ill!
I asked him a few times on the phone that night if he wanted to tell me the truth but he stuck to his story! I rang the network company, told them my boyfriend had been using the phone at work and i wanted to know if he had eva rang the number that texted MY phone, i had registered the phone so the operator told me he hadnt spoke or rang the number b4..but 4 a number he knew nothing about..he had texted it something like 65 times in the weekend (while i was in hospital with our 5 week old son!) Needless to say, his clothes and belongs went outta the bedroom window one night onto a soakin wet garden for him to collect..it was the local bike he works with, who he lives with now but not happy atall..me, im great now the *** has gone!! Put a different sim card in the phone and ring her, or email me her number and i'll try finding out who she is!! Good luck!x

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.
Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

I had that happen to me recently too.
I looked up the cell number at this link and found out the name. Also before I did that, I got a co worker to call the number from my work # and acted like he had gotten a call from that # and ... she spilled the beans...
Hope this helps.. Stay strong!
It's better to find out now!!!!!

Try searchbug.com and do a reverse phone search. Sometimes you can get a name, but most of the time it just says Cell number. If that doesn't work, Try Magnum P.I.

do you really want to know who it is? have you asked him about it? could it possibly be someone his working with on a christmas gift for you (that happened to me once). if you are wondering because you already do not trust him, then does it matter? but yes you can go to superbook.com i believe and do a reverse phone and cell phone look up. good luck and try to remember to think longer term before you do anything you can not take back or change.

Just been reading your answers, some good ones there, but before you go digging beware you could be playing with fire and some one could be upset or hurt in some way,is it worth it,or do you feel your pride has some how been betrayed
