would the power to create just about anything create more good or bad? what would you do with that power? will such power drive you insane? if you had such power, what do you think could be your ultimate creation or expression? and what would be the purpose of such creation?

and do you think the worthiness of our life lies on what we do with our capabilities? if so, then can a person who is severely handicapped still lead a life of worthiness? or would his life never be of any worth?

If you had infinite power like god, what would you do? - give a chance to others (who want it) to have that power(especially the ones who go on and on cursing god). but their will be some boundations (i hate bounding, but with the greed of this race growing day by day...), so that you don't cause further damage to god's wonderful creations.

would the power to create just about anything create more good or bad? - this will depend on your point of view. what i do may be taken as a bad doing by some, because as a great power there might be chances where i would have to do something that seems really bad at first but at a long run, can prove very advantageous. so being mortals, people may view the doings of this new and great power as 'bad'.

will such power drive you insane? - no. it will drive those people insane who want power. if given an option, i would not opt to have anything as great as that. its better to live with no powere and creating your own powers then be give with something so great but still meagre.

if you had such power, what do you think could be your ultimate creation or expression? and what would be the purpose of such creation? - the ultimate creations have already been made by this wonderful nature. it would be idiocy to say that i can create something more then what nature has, when i can't even draw a tree!!!

do you think the worthiness of our life lies on what we do with our capabilities? - no. if the worthiness lies on our capabilities, it would probably drive half of us insane, trying to do our best with the capabilities while missing all the beauty. we would always try to take out the best out of ourselves without waiting to look at the beauty around us.

yes s/he can. finding your woth can be as simple as lifting a pen to write while as difficult as to write something worthwhile.
having life, being alive, is in itself priceless. how can you fix the worth of something so ultimate, so beautiful, so wonderful. life is a gift, a gift which can never be have a price tag, every tag will seem less.

First, with my power I would give myself about 5 Million times the compassion and understanding that I currently possess. I would listen HARD to the entire world for a time. I would not reveal myself to the world because I would not want to cause envy or jealousy. Then I would set about helping people resolve their problems not by direct action but by encouragement and faith in them...nothing obvious but hopefully by thinking about them I could subtly assist them by giving them feelings of encouragement and belief in themselves. My 'help' for each person would be specific to them, but I would also try to radiate a sense of well being to the entire planet.
If I fixed the world through direct control, it would break again because I would not restrict free will. Only by encouraging people to be the best that they can be, in truly supporting and loving them would I be able to affect permanent, meaningful change. If enough people became the best that they could be and were truly happy, then it is likely that they would assist me in my efforts, though I would always remain hidden. After a few generations, I feel that Humanity would be changed and I would not need to act as a crutch for their happiness or enlightenment. Eventually I would fade away as all Gods must.

Life is worth. If you are alive then you can have a meaningful life. Each person is on a spiritual journey, as long as a person can grow and be happy, then life is good.

if I had the power, I would fix all the problems in the world and then live as a hermit.
I would maybe create another world the Pakistanis and one for the Jews, to solve the conflict.

But to the more important question, I believe that the worthiness of our lives does not lie in our capabilities... but how we use them. If a person uses his or her skills to their fullest ability, it doesn't matter if they are "good" at what they do. They are doing what they can for those around them, and that's all we can really ask for. We can make up labels to help us feel better, but we will only be happy if we realize our worth ourselves.

I would do everything I do now only better and in GREATER quantities. And I would make the sims online in 3D and allow people to use the all of their sims and objects from THE SIMS 2.

And I would probably build a secret sky castle, where super secret stealth planes could land and the military could relax and have tea with me.

And I would probably have little people. You know, like the cartoon the littles..

Power unexercised is impotent. Other than pondering and planning the ways to increase the cardinality of this infinity, the people, the gods and demi-gods I create would have ears to hear the miraculous thunderclaps boom from exalted altars.

There would be no confusion.

I would do what God does now in our personal life....nothing. I would just create a world where freedom of choice is the prevailing element of existance and to evaluate that person on their exercise of that freedom of choice for some eternal future.

i absolutely and totally agree with blondette and Theman about ones self worth etc. If I were God, which I know would never ever be possible cause no one is as mighty as He is, I would love them all till it hurt and I would allow them to repent and I would guide them through their lives and provide for 'my children'. I suppose thats why nobody can ever be like God because He is so unselfishly loving in a way that no human could ever begin to understand!

to answer your first paragraph, if i had infinite power, i would end the world.

the worthiness of our life does NOT lie on what we do. i mean, come on, has anyone ever done anything perfectly and with a pure heart? a handicapped person's life is worth every bit as much as the life of another. nazis may believe otherwise, but who goes to them for advise?
