I like middle pocket pairs (77-JJ) and suited paint. I was going to warn you about being prejudiced against JJ, but I'm funny about playing AQos, so I can understand. Another special hand for me is 4-2. I don't necessarily play it (though I do sometimes), but use it as a reminder that it may be time to change my game and loosen or tighten up.

I think playing that hand was your biggest mistake. Against one or two players ok, but against 3, you really needed help. Even if you flopped your flush, there is a chance that someone could have a card higher than your 7. I think you made a good move by going all in, but I dont know the other player well enough to determine if that was also a mistake. Is he the type of player to fold with pressure. If I was him, I would have placed you with Q high, you raised like you were afraid that he had a flush draw, and maybe thats why he called. He figured you didnt have a flush draw and had a couple of outs. I've read in numerous books, that too many people will call anything with lots of hands in the pot. Too much risk involved and with low cards like yours. I got to commend you for making a play and too bad you didnt catch that heart or hit your straight.

In Texas Hold 'Em, my favorite is pocket 4s.
Why, you ask? For me, it represents some famous players out of Syracuse Football history who wore #44. Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. Of course I'll likely lose in that hand, but I like to play them anyways.
I also like any suited cards, even a 7-2. I ALWAYS play suited cards.

I have found a pair of Aces in holdem to be the best and worst hand. The odds are with you to win, but I only usually win about 50 percent of the time with them.
As for my favorite, I like 7s and Kings.. always seem to do well with them for some reason!

Pocket aces are the best starting hand (if we're talking about hold'em), so that's my favorite.
I don't know about worst hand. 7-2 is the worst, but since I don't play it, it doesn't effect me. Mediocre hands that suck you into playing them are the worst, but I don't have one spefically that I don't like.
My 'pet favorite' hand that I like playing for the fun of it is 6-9 suited. It speaks to my inner Beavis.

It has to be AK suited, even though pocket ace's are a better starting hand, you'll win more with AK suited! The worst is any pair under ten's, this is going to get you in to trouble!!!!

A pair of two's is the worst. Like to see a flush or full house.

I never seem to win when I have a pair of Aces.
I love to see a Full House.
