Gay guys do not have a "squeeky" voice any more than other guys. It's more a socialization thing. Most guys try to deepen their voice as much as possible, to sound more manly. Gay guys, however, don't necessarily care, and they speak in whatever tone of voice is natural to them.

I find your question to be insulting and a purposeful perpetration of a negative stereotype that is not based in fact but rather in hurtful ignorance. I know many gay men and almost none of them have what anyone would concider to be a "squeeky" voice.

I think for the most part they inherit it, and mimick what a woman's voice sounds like. On the other hand I think some have female chromosomes and were born with that feminine tone.

I think that it is a learned behavior, learned manuerisms. Just like black people who speak alot of Slang, that is what they have always heard and they think they are supposed to act/speak, so they do it. Same with Gay men.
