No, I don't care what your beliefs are or what holiday you choose. Mine is homemade cinnamon rolls every Christmas morning. Even the work to make them was fun when my daughter was old enough to help. For us, this made for a very relaxing morning enjoying what the holidays are all about.

I had my first child the day before christmas in Tucson Az. I remember waking up early Christmas morning (6:00 am) and nursing her. I looked out the window and it was spiiting snow and the mountains seemed to be glowing from the sun rise. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and to this day (20 years later) it still is. I live in Ky. now and although I have had other children I will never forget that christmas morning. It was magical and still brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.

There was a Christmas when I must have been 7 and my brother 4. I got a train set and I was playing with it and got my hair stuck and had a nice bald spot. At the same time my brother came down with the Chicken Pox, so I wrote to Santa that night asking him to take away his Chicken Pox. It was a bad Christmas in a way but my parents were there to make us all better and everybody had fun in the end. I think about it every year lol. Happy Holidays!

paying tribute to the Ladies and Gentlemen who serve in the armed forces along with the police officers and firefighters who lay their lives on the line every day to keep our country free and our lives safe. what better way to say a " thank you very much " than to pay honor to those who have, are and will continue to serve than remembering that all gave some and some gave all so we can live in peace and freedom.
