I'm not sure what you mean, because glucose IS a carbohydrate. Other carbohydrates, like starch, can be broken down by enzymes and converted into glucose. Some other simple sugars can be converted to glucose in the body.

lollies are pure sugar cooked to hard ball stage and poured into a mold. So they are pure glucose with a bit of flavoring in them. You would be better off eating from the sugar bowl in the middle of the table with a spoon!
