I just finished reading the last book of the series, but I´m still confused.
*Why did Count Olaf Kissed Lemony Snicket´s sister, Kit Snicket?
*Was Lemony Snicket in love with the Baudelaire´s mother? (Her name was Beatrice, and in the book THE END it says that he gave her a ring but she gave it back to him)

*ARE YOU ALL AS CONFUSED AS I´AM?
-------Do any of you know any other important detail from A Series of Unfortunate Events?------

Snickett loved the Baudelaire's mother, Beatrice. She took the sugar bowl I guess...
and Olaf and Kit might have had a "thing" before the schism. I'm not sure if Beatrice was their child but... I'm having suspicions.
I think people will have a lot of fun thinking about/discussing this in the next few years.

I think Lemony Snicket was in love with Beatrice, their mother. The boat, remember?

Also, not clear exactly why Count Olaf kissed her, but I think it was that maybe they had a relationship in past.

i'm no longer particular, because i'm at the moment on e book 11. i love those books! Umm i imagine that #13 is the purely right e book because 13 is an unlucky decision and is the most problem-free decision linked with undesirable luck and unlucky issues, so it truly is sensible to end on e book #13.
