It's not that "peace" is impossible, whatever this diaphonous concept means, because there clearly is no logical contradiction in a world where people 1) don't have to work 2) have no reason to be violent 3) are contented by banal pleasures. The question is DO WE WANT THAT?
Do we want a world of unmitigated passivity? completely tranquilized by history and the evolution of industry and technology. Does not 'the whole beauty of man lie in activity'? For my part, I would admonish my existence in such an irrelevant place-- a petting zoo existence!-- and seek, as far as human-historically possible, to ESCAPE it.

wow, just because you're pessimistic doesn't mean everyone else should be
you'd rather watch the world roll in its filth and destroy itself? you'd rather watch people die horrible deaths through war and disease?
peace is not impossible, you think of absolute perfection and peace
what is attainable is a steady balance, there will always be bad, but you can't give up on peace, have you given up on life, because life has it's many downs
wow, your view just baffles me

I agree there's no point craving it because its impossible.
However, we should still try to keep things in order, we can't ignore it and lose control, then things would be even more disaterous...
We should stop trying to make things perfect and instead we should use what we got.

you may not get peace for the want of a craving,
but you can work towards a conflict resolution.

If not craving peace what should be craved? Something has to take its place.
