i have bad credit it is very difficult to rent an apartment?

Not if you have really good rental history. You might have to pay a bigger deposit. Also it helps if you have been at your job for a while.

There might be some less desirable places that will rent. Or you might be required to provide a huge security deposit. The better or nicer rentals may not. These places do background checks and credit checks with the idea that good credit and good people will pay their rent on time. These people are also more likely not to wreck the place. I have good to excellent credit and they wanted to see references and a co-signer (ended up not needing one for a couple of reasons). I am 28 years old with a position that makes about 30K a year. I do not know where you are looking but it depends on the complex and/or rental place.

If you have a stable job and references you will be all set. Another good thing is having a good reference.
