I want to give a close friend of mine a christmas gift. Now I'm a guy and she's a girl. She is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. I care about her a lot and kind of liked her for awhile. I just don't know what to get her. What can I get that doesn't obvioulsy tell her that I like her, but that I care about her. I think she would appreciate something special that has meaning... I know this is sooo general since you don't really know her, but I was just looking for some ideas. Thanks

I would get her something that maybe has some special meaning to her or to you both. Something from a trip you both took together or a conversation about an object. My husband suggests a birthstone ring of the month you two met. As a symbol of your friendship with her.

try something she can wear after that and tell her best friends look what i got from my friend and they will say ooh looks like he really likes u.and then she will think a little different about you, this happens eve u didnt liked her, a girls best friends words get to the heart. When u give her the gift take her to that movie shes been waiting to see or to her favs band concert. cause i read the other days this study on the brain when u r in love, and it said there something like when u go on a date take the girl somewhere u know her heart will beat fast, cause then her brain makes the connection between u and the excitement she felt and she will feel closer 2 u, and all that happens even without her knowing that. for ex people who went on a date on the rollercoaster or something like that or who got trapped in an elevator or in a building or in a dangerous situation (im not saying u should put a bomb in the restaurant)... silly me such a long answer 4 a short question...but the others allready told u what to buy. and btw, if doesnt have to be the most expensive thing its gotta come from the heart.

Anything you give a best friend well allways tell her you like her but to a certain extent.Depends on how you to also act towards each other so they don't take to another level.Any gift allways tell the person you care and like them.I would say something that well look nice and cute on her bed or on her wall nothing that well take up alot of space keep that in mine.GOOD LUCK.

How about a couple of tickets to something she wants or likes to do or see, with it being known that you will take her. That way you will have some time alone together and you will be able (maybe) to see if she returns your feelings. It won't really be like a date because it will be given as a gift, but then again it will be a like date.

Don't get her beer. Try a nice Juurnal, like the ones with nice patterns and stuff.
Or a nice bath, lotion, soap set.
Maybe a gift card to her favorite store.
If you really want to empress her get her a nice brand perfue.

Get her a gift certificate for the mall. Then she can pick something she really wants and you won't look so obvious about your feelings.

if you don't want to be that generic...then i'd suggest a CD that she's really been wanting and a DVD. can't go wrong with those two and they don't hint towards a romance, either.
