Divide 1 by 2 to obtain the decimal

1 / 2 = 0.5

Multiply the decimal by 100 and attach the percent sign %.

0.5 x 100 = 50 %

The answer is 50 %

5x - 12 + 12 = 18 + 12

5x = 30

5x/5 = 30/5

x = 6

Ok if Ching leaves San Francisco and travels toward San Francisco he's already there.. so all he has to do is wait on Phil.. which takes 6 hours and 20 minutes.. but lets assume Ching ain't in San Fran.. well it will take him 7 hours and 48 minutes. Phil will have to wait 28 minutes for Ching to arrive given that he is leaving an hour later.

And 1/2 is 50%.
