What happens their end?

they wont know you have blocked them unless they go into their personal settings and look who has added them to their contact list, so basically if u block sumone u r removed frm that list and then they will see your not there and put 2 and 2 together.

Yeah, they won't know at first. But eventually they'll figure it out. And, yes unfortunately there are those who actually will take offense.

Yes there are sites out there that allow you to put peoples msn id's in and it tells you if they are online or not. so if you block someone they see your off line, but can check via these web sites. lets just hope they not that cleaver and check lol

No, they shouldn't know. You will just be offline all of the time to them. At that point they may become aware that you have blocked them, This is more true if you have mutial friends on your buddy list.

Don't worry, only you will know you're on line. There are two laptops at this address and both go on line. When one puts themselves on the 'invisible' the other one gets a box come up saying the person is off-line. This only happens when we haven't signed in as 'invisible to all'. If you start your machine up with the instruction to be 'invisible to all' nobody will know you are on line. Then you can choose who you wish to know that you are on line, from your list.

nothing happens, you just appear offline to them.
you may have seeen a program advertised telling you that it can see who is blocking you - this does not work the file is just a virus.
