If you want hip and trendy and arty, go to Dragonfly at the Hotel Zazu in Uptown or Stephen Pyles which is next to the Dallas Museum of Art. or the Green Room in Deep Ellum. Ot spend the whole time in the bars and restaraunts in the West Village.

Go online to the Dallas Observer and check out some of the bars mentioned on Lower Greenville, in Uptown and in Deep Ellum by the other folks here -

Well depends on where exactly you are going to stay. Dallas has the west end, just okay, or also Deep Ellum, pretty cool, or lower Greenville, kinda small but nice. (those are areas) Or if you are going to hang out in Fort Worth, downtown is the place to be. Sundance Square is fun and happening all the time. HAVE FUN!!!

I love CafeBrazil--its a little art Cafe. There are two of them in Dallas (its not like a corporate chain though--as far as I know its just a local thing). One is in Deep Ellum (an experience in itself) and the other is off of 75 I think. The food is awesome. I usually get their tortillia soup in a bread bowl with a side of their rosemary potatoes. The brazillian steamers are great too, if you like frothy drinks. Great atmosphere--usually packed at night.
