Yes the sad w*****s who haven't got the brains to know what to do when they are not working, should work longer hours to pay for the more intelligent creative people who HATE with utter angst brain dead work!! (this would be me by the way) Didn't get the breaks in life i needed, and an education designed to fail in order to keep factories supplied with a workforce!!! BRILLIANT question, thanks for letting me vent my frustrations, I'm off to the pub shortly to get lost in a drunken haze!! (who had a great day at work today then!!!)

Yes.
In 2002, the Work Foundation reported that "job satisfaction has plummeted", and that so-called "high performance" management techniques made workers deeply unhappy and failed to raise output.
• In January 2004, a marketing director at Prudential was reported as saying: "Our research shows that an alarming number of people appear to be unhappy in their employment and unfulfilled by their work".
• A British Social Attitudes survey revealed that 6 in 10 British workers are unhappy in their jobs, with a majority reporting feelings of insecurity, stress, pointlessness, exhaustion and inadequate income.
• A Samaritans survey found that jobs are the single biggest cause of stress – and that the link between work and suicide is likely to be underestimated. In Japan, around 5% of all suicides are "company related" and suicide is an official, compensated work-related condition.
• In a pathetic attempt to raise worker morale, employers are giving high-sounding titles to mundane jobs. The recruitment company, Reed, noticed these examples:

Yeh this fund is called - Income Support!
Where you can knock out as many kids as you like, by as many different Fathers/Mothers! Get your rent/mortgage paid for, nil council tax, and as you have 17 children, they all qualify for free school dinners and music lessons, that's if you haven't porned it in in your lunch hour down cash converters, coz your part time job that you are doing whilst claiming isn't paying enough.
...and before someone gives me the thumbs down, may i just add i was in that system, and i was married and i have two children. I got a fulltime job as this was no way to bring up children, they need to realise that if you want something in life you have to get up off your @rse and work for it and not rely on state handouts! I am able bodied, and i am going to night school to improve my qualifications!

I enjoy working so that I can enjoy the fruits of my labor, not so I can give them to some parasite. Given a choice, I'd set at home on my fat butt too, but...I've got kids to feed, a mortgage and bills. Why should I also have to pay for the lazy bum who won't work? You don't work, you don't eat. Hell of an incentive in my opinion. Granted, there are some people who truly need assistance. For them, I will help. If you're able bodied, get off your fat ***, you parasite!

People should try to be productive citizens, but not everyone is in a position to do so. Also, some people contribute in less conventional (lower income) ways.

Yes but by the time you employ all the officials needed to run it, we would get less than we do now. Us unemployed have many reasons why we can't work. Guess none of them are good enough. So Run for government, You got my vote :)
