She has not lost her job, she has minimal living expenses, and works at one of the better paying places in our area. I stopped and asked her what happened since payday was just two days before, she told me hush and move on, I was ruining her 'flagging.' When I saw her at work, she said she gets more money flagging than working. She is even calling off work to do this now. Her boyfriend went to jail a while back and just got out. She made him prove he was a changed man by going without drinking for 1 week and then let him move in with her at the low-cost motel. She stinks, she looks bad, and she is manipulative.

But my problem is this...Why does it bother me so much?! I am so upset and this is absolutely none of my business! I already know that.

I wish I could stand next to her with a sign that says "She is gainfully employed and is stealing your money."

My question is...How do I let this go?

I think the sign idea would be hilarious.

However you never know her circumstances. If you don't pay her bills, or live her life then her financial circumstances are just that...hers. It might be annoying or what have you- but it is her life. Also if this starts to interfere with her work...your management team will deal with it. I have just found that these people tend to eventually just go away. Deal with it for now and I would almost assure you she won't be around in 6 months.

Amazing, is it not??? Id be curious what her religious convictions are as well....

If you want to let it go, just let it go. If its really buggin you that much, you could report her to the IRS or you could stand half a block away with pamphlets alerting passers by that she is a fraud and is gainfully employed. Or, why not tell her you want 30% or youre turning her in to your employer for faking sick leave...

This woman is obviously mentally disturbed to be grifting and have a full-time job. Damn! If you call the police or tell your uppers, she'll know you snitched. Just don't have anything to do with her, and leave her to her sick lifestyle.

That b*tch is crazy...especially with an ex-convict for a boyfriend?

trash...
