What would you do, if someone stole your christmas gift, in your own families home. I think it was one of my grandmother's employee's how would you set them up again to prove its them...It kinda upsets me, I haven't even see the gift...and probably won't ever see it, and its pointless to turn it in to the insurance the gift cost 360.00 dollars, and the deductable is 1000.00. Any opions.

If you feel you know who it is - talk to your grandmother (in front of them and suggest that you have talked to the police and that they feel it would be best to file a police report) - you can also suggest that maybe she misplaced it and that you will return in a few days to see if she "finds" it. You may miraculously find it has reappeared.

First of all I would make a complete check of the house to make sure the gift isn't "hidden" and Gramma "forgot" where she put it. Then I would call the Police to report the item as stolen and ask if they can be there when you call in the "employee/employees" to question them. Also I would try to find the receipt to show proof the gift actually existed. If the "employee" happens to "remember" putting it someplace other than where it was,I would still file charges against them if I got it back and let them deal with "the Christmas that wasn't" for them in Jail.

What a grinch! I hate Christmas theives - I hate theives period but Christmas theives are the worst! I wouldn't bother setting them up - but I would let them know that you have cameras video taping and will be going over the tapes with the police this afternoon - let them know that you won't prosicute if the gift is returned within 24 hours. See if it turns up....Man! I hate theives!

lol. That's just funny.
That happened to my mom a few Christmas' ago. She had bought me a Britney Spears cd. My evil aunt (who was 22 stole it.) mom bought me another and told me about what happened after Christmas.
Go find them, get gift back, and say "Thank you, that's mine" and leave smiling. Or you can leave growling at them. Call the cops, if someone stole something with a value of $360, they can get into trouble.

pray for them yes i know sucky answer but if someone has to do that they have issues and yes i would put empty box maybe a brick in it to make feel heavy and open ink so it will spill on them and brag how friend got you a 1000.00 dollar gift and see if they hit again also maybe family put up to tease you merry Christmas sorry Grinch hit your tree

If the item is over 100 dollars, that is grand theft. You should have filed a police report as soon as it happened. You still can now, but you are going to have a difficult time if you waited .

u can set up a camera and put out a bait like a tiffany color bag or something so u know thell take it and u can also be sure by the time the employee was there and time u put it out and are they like that
