Most NBA union paid ball game players make 4 million a year.
Ranking them as one of the highest paid employee's in the world. This statistic to my knowledge has not been updated as of 06 or 07 and was used for 05.
So I am sure it could be higher then that as the NBA has grown effectively in the last year.
My personal estimation is about 4.7 million average as of 06. Not to mention shoe contracts and other promotional considerations.
Just know its "BIG MONEY"

If you are a tall, skilled player and you seriously do have a chance of making it (I think ever 1 out of 212,000 players go pro) then the minimum NBA rookie slary is $384,000/yr. Keep in mind that it is taxed like 45%.
