I haven't been to Iceland before - so any information on what I should take to wear would be great! I'm assuming it's going to be freezing and will need all manner of thermal clothes - but I could be wrong!

At the moment it is -3 and is snowing, but the outlook for the next couple of days is getting warmer with sleet and rain. Have a look at www.vedur.is/
Hi, have managed to get a 10 day weather forecast for you which includes December 26th. It is going to cold and wet. A high of 33 degrees farenheight and a low of 29 degrees farenheight. I found this on the weather channel. Typed in a google search for the weather channel for Iceland and luckily it came up. The weather channel is very accurate, so wrap up warm and take your wet gear and a brolly. Have a lovely trip.

Iceland is gorgeous! I was there only for 3 days on a stopover to France a few months ago (the end of May). It's actually not as cold there as people seem to think during the winter, from what I hear. It's actually warmer there than it is in Boston where I live in the middle of winter (I've heard it's due to the gulf stream as well as the geothermal activity there). So it will be cold.... but maybe not as cold as people seem to think. Like it will get down below freezing but not by all that much, it won't be like below zero or anything like that.

(I assume the person above who said it is -3 was celsius.... which is really in the upper 20s fahrenheit.)

Iceland was really gorgeous but unfortunately also very expensive. It is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen though.

It's not exactly going to be all that warm, so I would advise wearing as much as possible! !

I'm told that it's a nice place to visit and the people are very friendly.......enjoy!
