Does he have his nad on your rear when he says it? lol...j/k

It doesn't mean he's flirting, some people are just friendly; I think flirting can take many forms, but you can test the waters a little if you want. But be careful, because he IS your boss and he has a lot more to lose than you do if the flirtations turn into something serious.

When somebody's actions and words do not match up they're said to be "incongruent". It means there's something else going on "under the surface". It could be flirting, but it could be a whole load of other things to. Be wary.

tread the waters very careful with this.He is the boss, but you are a human being to,believe me that you will know the right time to com front him with his behavior.Flirting these days, has turned into sexual harassment, and other type of things.Just use your best judgment.

If it was, it wouldn't hold up in court as harrassment. I don't think it is. I think he's recognizing you as a active member of his team and this is how he expresses to co-workers.

Next time he says it, say "I deligated that to ".

yes, watch out, he might try to marry you on the spot *drips with sarcasm*

In reality, probably not, I do the same thing with people I know that will tease back so we both laugh our heads off.

Doubt it. It sounds more like mental and verbal abuse to me. He sounds a right plonker and I wouldn't put up with it. But sounds like you accept it so he keeps right on doing it.

He doesn't sound like great boyfriend material, the sarcasm would probably kill you if he really was upset at you.
