Since the matches aren't actually won or lost by merit, you have to say who is the greatest character in their history. With out question the most important figure was Hulk Hogan. There isn't even a close second in WWF/WWE history. In wrestling history Ric Flair and Bruno Sammartino would be the only other two in the conversation.
