My Dad's house is 25 miles away. My Mom's house is 15 miles away. My in-laws house is 5 miles away. So total, I say we drive about 70 miles on Christmas Day going back and forth between our parents and grandparents. What a way to celebrate!

My husband's parents live 3 miles away. After that we meet my family at my grandparents house. They live 7 miles away. Round trip I'd say is about 20 miles.

I don't, and if I did it would be over 700 miles one way, I go to see them sometime when I have the money to make the trip after the First of the Year,so I just have gifts sent to their houses. My Daughters are grown and live 12 hrs from me,I am the one who lives out of state, they don't. We don't get to have Christmas together,I tried to get them to come down here to Texas for part of the Holiday (asked them back in April to plan for it),but they say they don't have the money to do it nor the time to take off,but can take off days(from work) to go shopping with her Mother in Law to KC which is 2 hrs from them. But that is ok,I am getting the picture and it is going to change for next year.

This year everyone's coming to our house but normally the people we visit all live within a 50-mile radius.

My fiance lives 2.5 hours from my home. I spend the days before at her home and we arise early and open gifts. I then get in the car and head home so I can be at an aunt's for brunch, then on to have supper with my mother, then to my son's to see him my daughter in law and two grandkids and exchange gifts with all these people. Then I head back to my fiance's town and we celebrate our meal on boxing day. She is unable to come with me on Christmas as she has three children of her own and her brother comes to visit them on Christmas. Luckily all that I have to visit are in the same town. So in total I would drive about 5 hours or better on this day in total.

I would say about 70 miles. Not bad compared to what some people have to drive! We are lucky that all our family lives pretty near!
