Either way is perfectly fine. I prefer breastfeeding, but breastfeeding isn't for everyone.

It's been said that breastfed babies tend to have less allergies and get sick less often.

It's also been said that breastfed babies have higher IQs, but I'm not sure I believe that. There are tons of people in this world who weren't breastfed and they're just as intelligent.

My best advice would be to try breastfeeding. Give it a chance and if it works then that's great but if it doesn't, don't feel bad. Sometimes it's just not for you or the baby and in that case go with bottle feeding.

Breast feeding is best with all the nutrients and antibiodies, however, formula is ok too, do what you feel is best- I went into it knowing I wanted to breast feed... but wasn't planning on have a huge baby and a c-section... I was in a great deal of pain- to where I could barely hold my baby at first, so I went ahead and chose to bottle feed. My son has been perfectly healthy the entire year- is now 14 months and has been off the bottle for a good 2 months now.

Breast feeding is best.Babies who are breast fed have less problems with ear infections, colds all sorts of things. Its easier for them to digest. Also better for you!Less likely to get breast or overane cancer. You loose weight alot faster. You'll have a stronger bond with your baby. However it is harder. After a few days your nipples get raw and hurt really bad. They will get better after a week or so.Breast feeding you feed more often.I was every 45 minutes.I had a hard time pumping the milk.So it made it hard for me to get away and get a break.I don't regret though and am glad i stuck with it.It is best but is also harder. If you do bottle feed use formula with dha and ara,it is what is in breast milk.Good luck with ever you choose!

Breastfeeding!! You lose your pregnancy weight faster, your baby gets your antibodies, so fewer illnesses and allergies, it's free, it's always ready, and you'll feel like a hero for making such a plump, healthy, happy baby. Get the book The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League. Or join a LLL chapter now! You'll never regret deciding to do what's best for your baby!! Also, the bonding that goes on during breastfeeding is unbelievable.

That depends on the person you ask. I personally bottle fed and my kids have never had poor immune systems and they both are on the honor roll so the tales you hear about those things and breastfeeding just does not hold true for many people.

My kids never had ear infections either and only go to the doctor for mandatory school visits. In truth, the kids that I know that were breastfed tend to get sick more and I think that is because the older generation was antibiotic happy and eventually that breaks down the immune sytem thus passing that to baby.

Breastfeeding is usually better. Once you and your baby learn how to do it, it's easier and more convenient than bottles. It's also healthier for both you and your baby. Breastfed babies have fewer healthproblems throughout their lives than bottle fed babies. Also, when you breastfeed, your body releases "coping hormones" helping you relax and be a better mother. :] However, if you use drugs, drink excessive amounts of alcohol, are HIV positive or have AIDS, or have serious emotional issues, bottle feeding may be better for you and your baby. It's a personal choice.

If there is no other problem, breast feeding is best for mother as well as child. Take good food and follow the doctors instructions like taking calci tabs etc. Enjoy motherhood to the fullest.
Take care
