Nope! Blue eyes are recessive traits. For over simplification most traits can be seen as a pair Bb, BB, or bb. where only bb will be blue eyes. So if the mom is bb and dad is bb, bb is the only option.

No a blue eyed couple can not have a brown eyed baby, these other people are wrong that said it is possible I even found a website for you to look at to prove it. Two brown eyes can make a blue and a brown and blue eyed couple can make a blue almost everything can except for two blue eyes. ITs the truth go to the website and see for yourself

No. Blue eyes are a recessive trait. This means that if you have blue eyes you have a full set of the recessive genes. However, if you have brown eyes you can still carry the recessive blue eyed gene.

So... Blue eyed couples will always have blue eyed babies. Brown eyed couples can have babies with any eye color.

--- Edit ---

I stand corrected. According to Wikipedia it is possible. However, very rare due to there being 3 sets of genes involved rather than just one.

Nope. Remember Mendel's Square from biology class? Blue is recessive, not brown. So brown eyed parents, one of whom may have a recessive gene for blue eyes, can have a blue eyed baby, but blue eyed parents both have only two recessive blue genes to pass on. Whoops!

Yes. I've even known a brown-eyed couple give birth to a blue-eyed baby.

Probability... no. Blue is recessive is it not? Well if it is, two of these genes combined cause another blue eyed... It isn't impossible, but not as likely. Two brown eyed people have brown, a brown and a blue... most likely brown. It all depends on your families.

Absolutely...as long as there is a brown eyed person up to 4 generations removed on both sides of the family.

Having brown eyes is a dominant gene.

Yes. The blue eyed baby inherited a recessive gene.

Yes.
The brown eyed gene may be a recessive trait in one or both parents.
The odds depend on which parent carries the recessive genotype for brown eyes. If both parents carry it their is a 25% (1 in 4 ) chance that the child will have brown eyes.

No. I wouldn't think that is possible. Blue is recessive and if both parents have blue eyes, then that baby will have blue...or another recessive color (if they are carriers).

NOW..if one parent has brown eyes, yes..that is possible...and the baby will be a carrier of blue and has the chance that he/she can give the blue trait to their own child.

Edit a few hours later: LOL How funny I have been voted TWO thumbs down for correct information....the above answers are NOT. Just because someone in ancestry has had brown eyes doesn't mean they can just appear. It doesn't work that way. Two recessive genes will prevail. End of story.
Go take a bio class.

Yes. See wikipedia for more detail:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color

Eye color is controlled by several genes which means both blue-eyed parents could be carriers for genes that would give a child a brown eye color. In addition, if you look in the background of the parents, I bet there would be ancestors with both eye colors.
