Sort of. But she wasn't to specific. She didn't tell me about my postman running through my office naked. Nor did she tell me my ex wife was going to drive her car (the one I paid for ) into a 7-11. She left the part out about this incredibly beautiful woman I was making the move on that turned out to be a man. I guess she forgot to tell me that my taxes are over due and the IRS just locked my building up.
She did say there would be good days and bad days, true. I just wish she had given me a little better heads up.

mother never told me there would be a life like this. Does anyone on this planet have a clue as to what they are actually doing? We are all trial and error and each and everyone of us keep repeating them over and over.
Now how come mama didn't tell us any of that, huh?

No. All she ever said was 'It's something that happens to ladies every month'.
Not helpful. She NEVER mentioned days like THIS...
