I had a baby 3 months ago and I have mass quantities of loose hairs. I realize it is because of the hormone fluxuations. Is there anything that can be done to help me shed the hairs faster so that I can get this process over with or a way to lessen the number of hairs that I loose?

it could be your hormones acting up and that is the reason for the hair loss but i think you should see a doctor about it because it could also be nerves that are causing your hair to come out and if it is they can prescribe pills to help.

If you're not getting bald patches or visible thinning, it's going to resolve on its own. Brush your hair a couple of times a day to get the loose ones out, and be patient.

I'm sure there's some kind of hormone treatment for it, but sometimes the cure is worse than the disease, you know?

It is the hormone fluctuation after having a baby. But you have to make sure you are still taking your multi vitamins. If you are breast feeding it is still important that you take them because that takes so many nutrients out.

Also you may want to look into hair vitamins. Yes they do exist. You can take Biotin and Vitamin b-12, but Biotin is great for hair, nails and skin. This has helped wonders for me. We also recommend if for our patients. But don't stop taking your prenatal vitamins just because you've delivered. This is one reason why we still tell patients to continue with their vitamins.

If it doesn't get any better after taking the vitamins, get your thyroid checked, sometimes after having a baby, some glands go haywire and thyroid is one of them. Losing hair is one sign.

Hope this helps!

My husband has lengthy hair and has been utilising Loreal Melting Gel for years. It has on no account brought on him to lose his hair. Probably the worst factor that you simply might do for your hair to make it "fall out" (extra like holiday off) is bleach it. Bleaching could be very detrimental if no longer performed appropriately. So preserve utilising your gel, you don't have anything to lose! Pardon the pun.

We'll my best advice to you is to go to the doctor to get checked to see if you have cancer. If you don't have cancer then you should try some of that Babe Don't Be Ball hair grease.
