What is a "System SN" as requested by the boot disk provided by PB???

Look on the back of the computer for the sn.

The PBs are UNIX Based machines, they ask for the SN, Serial Number at boot. This can be changed in the BIOS, but it is not reccomended.

That is the system serial number. It should be on the cover of boot disk.

this is the serial number, this will be on the back of the casing on a green label about 3inches by one inch, it will be a 25 digit number in 5 groups of 5 numbers/letters, it is also known as the product key hope this helps you

Ideally connect to the internet and allow the computer to search for the necessary drivers... alternatively purchase a crossover cable and connect the 2PCs together and transfer the files that way.
