I wish no misfortune on anyone this holiday season. I hope that he recovers and maintains his seat. If he does not, it is up to the govenor of his state to appoint who he chooses. I am one of those non compassionate conservatives you keep hearing about. My hopes and prayers are with his family.
It is the media, kind of like the negative view they always show. It generates ratings. Just like the war in Iraq. They show only negative, never positive, and have created a mob mentality.

I think it's the media trying to generate a story to boost their ratings. I haven't heard Republican leaders comments.

No, but the left are the ones making the accusations. As for me I am praying for a full recovery.

They most certainly are. The media is always game for juicy bits of info from the beltway. It puts oxygen in their lungs. They Republicans would like nothing better than to crow.

We all need to say a prayer for Tim Johnson, that he will recover enough to hold his position as Senator.
May God Bless America!

This is unfair and as cruelly biased as can be.
If this was reversed, Dems would be doing the same thing. It's appropriate.

It's not the dems or the reps, it's the media that is talking it up.

That is a quite a scurrilous accusation. I haven't noticed what you described - please could you give an example?
