A name is just that a name and it's usually an expression of the parents at the time the child is born. I am from an area where that name is very common - I know a child named "Expression Unique". Go for it if you like but be repared for an explanation when your chils asks why he/she has the name they have

1. What does your name means? ~ Pure, Princess 2. Does your name's meaning "reflects" your "personality"? ~ Yes, a lot! 3. Do you think your personality will change now by changing your name? ~ No. I am what I have become over the years. So name won't change my personality.

Yes I do think it would make a nice middle name and at times a first name.

I would before naming a child, think of how that name may impact a child in the course of its life.
Children can be cruel with one another at times and unusual names can be a catalyst for mean taunting.
This can have a devastating impact on the child's character if cruel insults or name taunting takes place.
Just my observations.

Remember...you're kid is going to have to live with that "cute" name their whole life....if you don't think it be okay to be 45 years old with the name then don't name them something that is just a stupid little fad. You can give your kid an orignial name that will not leave them stuck in some decade (because you named them after a fad) or sounding like they are forever 5 years old whenever they have to write that down on an application.

Yea, I think it would make a better girl's name than a boy's name... Sort of reminds me of the name Dominique. Sounds a bit african or mixed though.

My middle name is Grace and I'm the clumsiest person I know. Sometimes by virtue of your name, you fail at upholding it.

the other day I heard a lady calling her daughter...her name was "ocean".
so really, you can name your kids whatever you want.
"unique" might be a little to unique for me to name my kid that, but if you like it....go nuts!
