Media Technology refers to a vast array of devices created to transmit or receive the many forms of media: computers, televisions, satellites, mobile phones, fax machines, pda's, television and radio's etc.

It depends on what context, there are 2 common forms of media tech;

1- Traditional media - related to how the press, tv etc get their news, how they boradcast it etc
2- Media as in advertising - new and technological break through advertising tools etc
