Over a thousand alien workers were arrested or detained for investigation at Swift Meat Company. Why were they singled out? They were arrested at Swift in Marshalltown, Iowa, why were they singled out? Why didn't they also go to Excel in Ottumwa, Iowa? So is someone getting paid off? They went to Greely, Colorado, but again not to Fort Morgan, Colorado. Does it seem like payoffs by some meat packers?

I believe they were singled out because the workers at Swift were using other people's social security numbers to get hired. It was a year long investigation, I heard. I heard that the investigators believed Swift helped them steal the SS#'s, but the Swift higher ups said that was not true. I guess time will tell.
