My last one was 595 mm wide and now they all seem to be 600 mm wide and won't fit in my gap in kitchen. Does anyone know of one that is about 595 wide?

600mm width is what is called a nominal width. If they are sized at 600mm then it will go into the gap of the old one. Just think about it. Machine makers would be committing hari Kari if they made them wider as every kitchen unit is based on 300mm,600mm,500mm etc. Nobody would be able to by a new machine without altering the whole kitchen. They are however coming a little deeper and they can take greater loads.

yes and they have made the drums bigger so they can take larger loads
