Trick Question. Since Law is Mostly Revenue Anyhow. If speed was a concern wouldn't you think the ECU, or Computers would Govern itself for your States Mandated Speed Limit? How far Does Congress have to go until Folks realize that it's Wrong? And wouldn't it be safer to say ALL DRIVERS should pass the State Police Driver Exam for Safety? And yes I understand posted speeds in the cities or other areas, but the Interstates that have 500+ miles of Straight Aways!! LOL What do you think Speeders, or 95% of all Drivers? huh? What is it next, Your allowed to buy a Camera, but can't take the pictures??

My police car could never make it much past 120, so I doubt there are many police cars that could keep up

Even speeding on straightaways like interstates are dangerous because there are other drivers on the road. How many times have you been on the interstate and someone pulls out in front of you, cuts you off, or does something incredibly stupid that nearly results in an accident? Mix that with 100+ mph speeds and you have one messy, FATAL accident. It isn't worth it. Get your kicks some other way, and think about the other drivers on the road. Or just move to Germany I guess.

It is just a matter of common sense. The problem is that people get stupid and do things that hurt others. The speed limit is there for that reasom. Hopefully people will obey the law and not hurt others.

So you think that people who buy these types of fast cars wont bother to take it to the track to try and test them out?

95% of all drivers don't have the skill necessary to handle a vehicle at high speeds.

Duh! And I suppose if you buy a gun you should be allowed to kill people?

I don't want you driving 150 mph on my highways! I've got a family and a life, even if you don't. (Bet you're under 25!)
