Looking up brb.

Most names that have Chris in them are associated with Christ or Anointment.

The closest name I found to yours was Christelle: Greek meaning anointed.

Either way your name has an air of divinity, but be happy that's it's so distinctive.

Chriselle sounds like female for Chris which is short for Christopher(Khristopheros), "Bearer of Christ".

Maybe it's a combination of like Christine and Giselle. So whatever those 2 names mean...

I had a friend named Jennica, because her parents couldn't decide between Jennifer and Jessica. 80)

Most likely it is a feminized form of the name chris

In French elle means the feminine

Chris is a nick name for Christopher

Therefore literally it would mean female christopher

Christopher means from Christ

Therefore it would mean female from christ

Perhaps your parents just made it up to be clever. My husband's parents spell his name Josue even though it is pronounced Joshua because they were trying to be unique. Same thing with his sister Megen (Megan) and brother Josef.

Closest I could find was Christelle, which means "annointed." Your name is just a variation.

I"ve looked it up on several sites and no luck. Maybe your mom made it up to signify something that was special to her, just like you!

Your parents were very creative with your name. Did they mix their names to create yours????
