i belong to a local football club and there is an xmas party which i don't really want to go to but my mum is really angry because i dont want to go, why is she angry and is it that bad that i dont want to go?
i dont see the problem with it

You need to communicate with your mom....as to WHY she wants you to go......WHY she's angry at your decision.
And you need to let her know WHY you do NOT want to go.
All reasons may be valid. But you both need to understand the why's of each other.
