i think it's stupid they are the two main characters in the story.

As the show is a great hit you should consider the options.
1) What would the benefits be of either of the brothers dying?
no benefits because that's the whole point of the show. Two
brothers on the run to clear the name of Burrows while
exposing the president's more than questionable ways to
exterminate Burrows. It's a joint effort and if either one dies the
other won't see the point of persuing the task at hand.
2) The death of either one of the brothers would disturb the story
line.
Keep in mind that these two men escaped from prison. Death
of either one of the characters would make it desirable to find
a new character to replace one of the main characters. One
person on the run would have less of a hard time hiding from
the law but when it's two people it's more difficult to hide and
more risks of getting recognized, injured or even caught for
that matter. But changing a winning team by adding a new
character isn't that likely. Don't fix something if it isn't broken I
would say!
In my humble opinion this show can only run for two more seasons before we the viewers collapse from fatigue after all the suspense! The show is well written and keeps you on the edge of you seat through the whole episode. But for the purpose of credibility at some point the manhunt has to come to an end. Maybe a spin off or new threats could create enough material for a new show or a new man hunt just like they did with 24.

As far as i know the only person that was shot on the last show was the fed that had been chasin them..in a preview for the show on 1-22-07 it show's link holding a gun to the fed-turned-bad and micheal was standing to the side..but you never know..they are both the stars of the show so they can't kill them till the end..and can't kill link (one of my baby daddies wanna be's..lol)
