Yeah..it´s one of those things that brings the``women and men can´t be friends´´ clisé up.During the first year of our friendship, with one of my now closest friends, his behavior many times showed that he wanted to be more than that, even though I didn't. I,too, was flattered and thought that it didn't mean anything.Since then he has tried-a few times-to make a move, probably cause hope dies last-and I just tried not to make a big deal out of it,cause when things like that happen things can get awkward.I told him how I felt and that I didn´t want things to go any further, and since the foundation of our friendship is strong he respected that. And so we still remained close and connected.Of course if I had feelings maybe things would be different.

yes my best male friend made a move on me about every time we were together for approx. 3 years straight. And I will confess that for quite some time I just laughed it off and even found it quite flattering. Then after awhile I started to really think about things and realize that I would be livid if this was the other way around and my husband had a friend that would jump in the sac with him on a moments notice so I had to sit down and maturely and rationally tell him that my hubby and I were in love and I didnt want anything to come between us and there was never a chance that my friend and I would ever be more than that so please respect that and still be my friend, he did and all is well.
