She's making a nest, I think.
Unpregnant females do it too, not just when they're gonna have kittens.
If you're REALLY worried about it, see a vet, but as long as she's not off her food or anything she's probably fine.

mbunnyau is the closest but not quite on target.
Yes it could be a false pregnancy. That shouldn't happen all that often though unless there was some event like putting her in with another rabbit that would have caused her to think she was pregnant even though she isn't, like putting here in with another doe.
Mites/mange would be a very good guess. This would probably be my top guess.
If you have a large headed breed such as a lop breed the feeder might possibly be too small causing the fur to be rubbed off.
If your rabbit has a tooth problem or abscess this could potentially cause the rabbit to lose furn under its chin, but not real likely.
Spading her has nothing to do with this problem. It would do nothing as far as curing the problem.
I'd take her to the vet and see if she has a fur or skin problem. There is one last thing that could be causing the problem that I just thought of. Your rabbit's diet could be off. If a rabbit is not getting enough protein or fiber it will chew fur. Most rabbit pellet rations properly balance their feed so that this shouldn't be an issue. If you are however feeding it other things for it to eat, such as vegetables, it may throw off that nutritional balance causing it to chew fur.

Possibly stress related. Make sure she has lots of playtime out of her hutch. My house rabbits have at least 6 hours a day out of their pen, running around my house (and garden in the summer). Think about getting her a neutered male for company. Rabbits are social creatures and get really lonely. Also think about getting your rabbit spayed (if she isn't already). Uterine cancer kills the vast majority of female bunnies.
May be phantom pregnancy as the doe pulls fur out from the chest/dewlap area when she makes a nest.
Might be a skin or mite infection.
I'd take her to the vet for a check up just in case.

Its common for rabbits to do this. If she is not pregnant then she may be having a false pregnancy which is common in female rabbits. She is pulling out the fur to make a nest.

I wouldn't worry about her pulling hair out from under the chin unless it looks like she is going bald in that area. This is generally where a female rabbit pulls hair to make a warm nest for her young.

If she is pulling the fur out herself it could be a false pregnancy. Other things to look for are, particularly if it's directly under the chin.
- drooling or wetness, which could indicate a tooth problem
- redness or swelling which could be related to a tooth problem or some sort of skin infection.
- lots of scratching, which could be mite.
Without seeing her it's hard to be accurate, but if the skin looks otherwise healthy, soft and pink then I'd lean toward hormones. Best thing is to get her spayed or she'll be going through these cycles quite often. Anything else needs a trip to the vet.

She wants to become pregnate.. no really...she is wanting to nest..
Or she is shedding and removing fur.. rabbits will do this too.. keep an eye on her..
or
Do check the skin under the bald patch if it is flakey, red, and she is scratching it, then she may have skin mange and she needs to be treated for that..

i had a rabbit that used to pull her fur out and i was told by a rabbit breeder that they do it out of frustration cos they want to have babies so if she hasnt already been neutered or whatever they call it for rabbits then i suggest you get her done at the vets .
