Its made me even more convinced that it was a murder plot by the British Establishment. I more sceptical about the whole thing than I ever was!.
Here are a few of my own reasons.
Why did they not take her to a near by hospital?.
Why did they drive at 5 mph?. Did they wait for her to die ?.
Why was the car that hit them ignored for 2 years then suddenly the driver is found murdered once the media tracked it down?.
Why was the CCTV along that particular route switched off?
Why did they embalm her body when it is strictly illegal in France?.
Why did they scrub the tunnel clean only 4 hours after the crash?.
There are countless more but I cant go on about them all here.

I'm with all the people that dislike conspiracies.
What's next - That George Bush was warned about the Katrina Levee risk?
Next you'll be saying Saddam wasn't about to nuke us or that Tony Blair sells seats in the Lords.
You'll believe the Iraq dodgy dossier was real net.
Just because people were with the Diana's driver all night and he didn't drink, it doesn't mean he wasn't drunk.
There's nothing unusual about the people that came and disabled all CCTV on the route hours before the crash. Or that a Fiat UNO was seen waiting at the tunnel entrance for a long time & only went in when the Mercedes appeared, struck the car and drove off.
She was rushed to hospital a few miles away in only 1 hour and 40 minutes, but she died in the short 100 minutes it took to get her there
Nothing strange about a last minute switch of a car, a driver that worked with MI6 and had just got 100K from them, a route that makes no sense, CCTV disabled on the route, MI6 on a bike following her, a Fiat UNO waiting for her and hitting the car before escaping, an emergency vehicle taking 100 minutes to do 2 miles, MI6 being at the hospital, the doctors being silenced etc. etc.
Everything is normal. Only TV and Government is true.

Well, it is plausible that it could have NOT been an accident. Diana certainly could have been considered an embarrasment to the royal family, and not just to them but to christians and even the west. I mean, lets say she married this Arabian guy. With Diana's popularity being such that she was regarded as the people's Queen of England, what would he be- the King of England? Haha. For all we know Diana could've been about to turn to Islam, or been involved in some sort of espionage. The fact of the matter is that despite her resounding popularity, this woman was not all she appeared to be. I wouldn't say she was evil, but she wasn't really good either.

I think that none of us will ever really know for sure. We can only guess as to what happened, as none of us was actually there. If it was a set up and not an accident, the truth will probably not be revealed in our lifetimes, but I think that you are wrong - that it was just a terrible accident, and that the conspiracy theories abound because it was just too awful to lose such a beautiful human being.
To the poster above who thought that the Royal's are Catholic - sorry, but you are wrong - they are Episcopalian or "English" Catholic, and divorce has been approved by the English Catholic church since the time of Henry VIII, who broke off with the Roman Catholic church specifically for the reason of being able to divorce.

I think the reason why Fayad and the like think that Diana and Dodo were murdered was because they deserved to be executed. She stated unequivocally on the bashir interview that she wanted to bring down the royal family and establishment. That is treason which was a hanging offence at the time. She also admitted to shagging around whilst married to the heir to the throne which is also treason.
Diana was a low ranking aristocrat who got a job a trainee queen but just wasn't up to it and got sacked. Just like some rejects from big brother, she made a career a vacuous celebrity.

Nunoyvgvna Awi speaks the truth. Lets say it wasn't an accident, would the press tell the public anyway ? i don't think so. Having said that, there's no need for it to be bought back up, the media need 2 let this breathe, nothing is sacred anymore.

The investigation still hasn't found the white fiat Uno and it has acknowledged that Henri Paul was in the pay of the French secret services which does seem too much of a coincidence. It could be either but I don't think there is any way to tell conclusively either way.

Even if it was a cover up as you say!.
It's not going to her back we all want justice but if we keep dragging this up about her death how are they going to move on.
I will say this though I think Diana would be proud of both of her son's.

It was an accodent that she was able to expose the misery of children of the east and the west living in misery with "The candle in the wind" in planet of apes.
If it was a cover up it will not expose "The candle in the wind" in planet of apes.
